the studio Beatriz C. Maturana (architect + urban designer) Anthony McInneny (urban artist) Beatriz C. Maturana is a registered architect (RMIT), with a master of urban design and a PhD focusing on content in architectural education (University of Melbourne). Her wider interests are concerned with how architects in Australia can improve their participation in urban decisions affecting cities and society--underpinning these issues are ecology and social justice. Beatriz is the founder and currently vice president of Architects for Peace. She has taught architecture and urban design at RMIT (Master of Public Art) and tutors at the University of Melbourne. She has 17 years of professional practice in private practices (including her own) and government departments. architecture + urban design
